In 1983 &1984 Jeanne participated in Medical Missions to Honduras to help Doctors and Dentists to set up health clinics. Jeanne was a member of Lebanon County M.A.D.D. (Mother's Against Drunk Drivers) and served as the Vice-President. In 1984 Jeanne was named Lebanon County Jaycees Outstanding Young Woman.

In 1988 she was named Lebanon County Jaycees Outstanding Young Educator. In 1989 Jeanne was Second Runner Up to Pennsylvania's Teacher of the Year. She was nominated for Disney's American Teacher Awards. in 2000. Jeanne was named Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 1992, 2002, and 2005. In 2007 Jeanne was nominated for Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Teaching and Education.

In 2007 Jeanne was awarded the 30 years Service Pin from the American Red Cross. Jeanne served as a Girl Scout leader 2002-2003.

She participated in a Mission Trip to Kentucky in 2003 to Red Bird Mission to help build homes for the people of Kentucky.

Jeanne is a very active member of the Campbelltown United Methodist Church, Campbelltown, Pennsylvania. Jeanne also serves as a Trustee.

Jeanne has volunteered her time at Bethesda Mission in Harrisburg, PA serving meals to the homeless.

Jeanne is also a member of the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company's Women's Auxiliary where she serves as Secretary.

In 2008, Jeanne was named Who’s Who Among Executives and Professional Women.

Steve was a member of the Campbelltown United Methodist Church, serving as a Trustee for three years. In 1999, Steve was awarded the Harrisburg Building Traders "Craftsman of the Year" award.
